こんにちは、今回で3回目のブログ投稿になります。
先月、ホストマザーの誕生日がありました。ホストファミリーは、お祝いに4日間グレードバリアリーフに夫婦水入らずで旅行に行き、その間私はホストファミリーの娘さんの家にホームスティしていました。
先週、教会の後ホストファミリーの友達の家でホストマザーを含めた3人の誕生日会を開き私も参加しました。
ここに集まった方達は、以前ホストファミリーのライフグループだった人達でした。ライフグループとは、教会のグループで聖書を説いたり神について決められた人の家で数十人で話し合うグループです。ドイツ人やポーランド人など様々な国の人が居て、中には聞き取りづらいアクセントの方もいましたが、様々な国の話を聞く事ができてとても良い体験ができました。
友達の家はブリスベンの田舎で沢山の自然に囲まれていました。
ちなみに、写真はここの家の庭です。広さは工学院のグラウンド二個分もしくは、それ以上なのではと思うくらい広大で、たくさんの木々が生い茂り、池や橋、遊具などもあり日本とのスケールの違いを感じました。
Hi, this is my third time to write a blog.
It was my host mother's birthday last month. Host family took a trip to Great Barrier Reef for 4 days and I stayed with their daughter.
Last week, they held a birthday party in their friend's home after Church. People gathered here who were previously in host family's life group. Life group is a church group that fellowship together talk about the Bible and talk about God. There were people from other countries, such as Germany and Poland. It was even more difficult to listen to the various accents but I had a very good experience.
Their friend's house was in the countryside of Brisbane and was surrounded by plenty of nature. These pictures are in the garden of the house. The garden is two times or more as large as my school ground in Japan. There were many trees and a dam, a bridge and playground equipment. I felt the difference in scale compared at home in Japan.
