オーストラリアに３か月留学中のSさんからの報告です。
ブログを書くのが2回目になります。Hinaです。 オーストラリアに来て早4週間が経ちました。段々と耳も慣れてきて、ホストファミリーが何を話しているのか聞き取れるようになってきました。また、話すときに緊張しないで話せるようになりました。
先週からassessment が始まりました。assessment は皆の前で発表をしたり、grammar review をしたりします。日本で言うところの小テストやプレゼン発表です。 assessment が終わるとexam が始まります。exam は日本で言うところの定期試験です。 exam が終わるとcamp があります。camp はインターナショナルハウスの人だけで行くみたいです。
今週はspeaking test がありました。speaking test のお題はlast holiday についてでした。speaking test はWord とPowerpoint を使って発表しました。以前から学校でWord やPowerpoint を使っていたので、使い方に困ることなく作ることが出来ました。
今回はNOVELという授業について話したいと思います。NOVEL の授業では決められたnovel を先生やクラスメートと一緒に読んで本の内容を理解しています。宿題は授業で読んだ章の問題を解くことと、次の章に出てくる単語の意味調べです。 授業で読んでいる本はFCE(ケンブリッジ英検)レベルで、英検準1級と同じぐらいのレベルです。 単語は難しいですが、物語は日本が関係してくるので全く分からないということはありません。 すごく自分の為になるので日本に帰っても継続したいです。
今週末は前にお世話になったホストファミリーがゴールドコーストに来てくれました。 一緒にショッピングをしたり、ビーチに行きました。
今週、来週と続くテストを頑張りつつ、オーストラリアでの生活を楽しみたいと思います。 See you next time !!
This is my second blog. I'm Hina. Four weeks has passed from I came Australia. I can understand what did my host family say, because I got used to listening to English. I am no longer nervous when I talk to them.
It started assessment from last week. Assessment will make presentations in front of everyone and do grammar review test. Assessment is the quiz and do a presentation of Japan. When assessment finished, exam begins. Exam is the routine exam of Japan. After the exam we have a camp with international students.
We have a speaking test this week. The theme of speaking test was about Last holiday.I used Word and Powerpoint. But I wasn't trouble. Because I sometimes use those at Kogakuin.
I'd talk about Novel this week. In NOVEL 's lesson, I understand the contents of the book by reading the determined novel with the teacher and classmates. Homework is solve the problem of the chapter I read on that day and examine the words in the next chapter. Level of the book I'm reading is FCE. This level is Pre-1 of Eiken. I think it would be in my best interest.
The previous host family came this weekend. I did shopping with them and went to the beach.
I hope to enjoy living in Australia while working hard on the tests that will continue this week and next week.
