2019 3か月留学日記-12

オーストラリアに3か月留学中のKさんからの報告です。

Hi, my name is Stacey Kamijo. I am going to John Paul College in Australia.

The first thing I will talk about is our school. There were no tests on my first day. We talked with the teacher and the teacher decided our levels. I am in the level 3 class. I was nervous at first, but I got used to it very quickly. Classes are fast-paced so I have to concentrate hard to keep up and understand everything. I do a lot of homework every week. Sometimes the occasional speech week is very hard.

Next, I will talk about my host family. The photo above shows me with my host family little   sisters. On the weekends, I do a lot of activates with my host family. We make dinner together, go to the sea, and we also went to Koala Garden, and koala park. Everything is very fun. I went shopping alone for the first time. It was hard to hear the price and understand what the shop staff said but I managed it!

The dinners cooked by my host family are delicious. The family prays before eating, and on special days my host family also hold hands when praying before dinner. They did it the first day I came. I think it’s nice to say thanksevery day for food.

It is hard to live while incorporating the cultures of various countries, but it is very useful.
