Citipointe Christian College に通う Yuki君から、レポートが届きました。
こんにちは！
この三か月留学もおよそあと半分となりました。
こちらの学校では毎日山のように宿題がでます。これが一日の宿題の写真です。
これらの宿題をこなすだけでほぼ毎日寝る時間になってしまいます。その宿題の中でも特につらいのはエッセイとスピーチ原稿を書くことです。ほぼ毎週約５００ワード程度のエッセイを書き、さらに二週間に一回スピーチがあります。
また、今、学校では中間テストが行われています。
テストには、ライティング、リスニング、ライティング、スピーチがあるのですが、最もつらいのはライティングでした。2時間40分間で４００～５００ワードのエッセイを英英辞典のみを使い、書くというものでした。自分は何とか書き終わったという感じでした。
そのような忙しい日々を送っているのですが、楽しい出来事もたくさんありました。
一つ目は学校のサッカークラブの練習に参加できたことです。前々から先生と話していたのですが、今週やっと参加することができました。試合は2ターム以上が必要なのが残念ですが、少しでもボールに触れて良かったです。
2つ目は私のホストファミリーの家族みんなで私の誕生日を祝ってくれたことです。みんなでランチを食べ、その後ボーリングに行きました。とても楽しい一日でした。
3つ目はライフグループです。私のホストファミリーはライフグループという聖書を皆で読んだりランチをしたりする集まりに参加していて、私もたまに参加させてもらっています。色々な人のエピソードを聞いたり、お話したりとても楽しいです。
ところでこのブログを書いているときに、ホストファザーに呼ばれたのでついていくと庭に毒のない蛇がいました。ついさっきまで大雨が降っていたので岩の隙間に木から移動したそうです。
このように忙しいながらも楽しい日々を過ごせています。
残り半分気合を入れなおして頑張っていきます。
Hello！
This three month study abroad is finished about half.
This school give me a lot of homework every day. This photo is my one day homework list.
When I do their homework, it finish about time for bed every day. Especially, write essay and speech script are hard for me. Every week I write 500 words essay and I have a speech twice a week.
Furthermore our school holding a midterm test. It has writing, reading, listening and speech. I felt writing test is hardest. It used 160minutts. And write 400~500words essay only use dictionary of English. Somehow I could finish wrote it. I have that kind of busy days.
However I have a lovely days too.
Firstly, I join the school soccer club training. For a long time I talk with teacher about it. At last I participate it. A game need at least 2term. So I can’t take part in it. But I am glad about touch the ball a little time.
Secondly, My host family’s family together and celebrate my birthday. Eat the beautiful lunch together. After that we went to balling. It was a wonderful birthday.
Thirdly I enjoy the life group. My host family is belong to it. It is sometime read the bible and eat lunch together. I join it sometime. When I join it, I can listen interesting episodes and talk with them.
By the way, when I write the essay, host father call me. Therefore I follow him. He show me a snake in the garden. It is not poisonous. Until a few minutes ago, fell the heavy rain. So he move crevice from tree.
In this way I spend a busy and interesting days.
I put more spirit for spend wonderful days.
