I had a lot of fun during my trip. I think the most memorable thing about my trip was the people I met here. Everyone has been very kind and considerate with me ever since I got here. I really like the milk tea here, too. I have drunk 11 milk teas so far. I'm not sure if I am ready to leave Japan yet. I also really enjoyed swimming for P.E. even though I only had very basic knowledge of it. Although I did not understand a lot of the classes, I had fun being in them. I found physics pretty interesting even though I've never taken a physics class. I cannot wait to tell my friends and family in LA about my stay here. My only worry I have is exceeding the weight limit of my two luggages. I bought so many souveniors from here and hopefully I won't have to pay an extra fee.

I forgot to mention at the beginning that I am an exchange student from the USA. During my trips, I promised myself that I would practice for my driving test. I did not. After this trips, it encouraged me to take public transit now and I want to take it regularly in the future. I also believe that this exchange helped me grow some confidence in myself and independence. My favorite memory so far was when a friend from another class bought me a ring after I had lost mine here. Another favorite memory I had was participating in the tea ceremony club. I had a lot of fun and yummy snacks. I'd also want to say a big thank you to the class for creating a fun, kind and safe environment for me. I could not ask for a better experience with them.

昨年度交換留学生として現地に滞在し、今回ホストシスターを務めた生徒の感想をご紹介します。
Going around Tokyo with Misha, my home stay buddy, was a wonderful experience. In Asakusa, we wore kimono and yukata and explored the streets. The temples and streets had the taste of Japanese and we took a lot of pictures there. We enjoyed the street foods too, especially the warabi-mochi drink. We also went to Shinjuku on Saturday after school. There, we were able to go to a cat cafe Misha was craving to go. On our way back to the station, she got a snap with Godzilla’s head.
Since Misha likes Sanrio, we visited Sanrio Puroland in Tachikawa. It was my first time going there too, but we were able to take a ride and watch parades and shows. As a souvenir, Misha was very satisfied to have bought a Keroppi key holder, her favourite character. This three weeks had spent very quickly as never before. Right now I am talking with her family that we will do exchanges in the future again, and I really look forward to it.
