Any good conqueror needs the latest technology to help them reach their goal. Today the students visited the local science center, esplora, located in the beautiful Kalkara area in order to get this technological development. The interactive displays had English instructions so students could both review scientific principles AND use their knowledge of English to perform tasks.
Once the students got enough scientific knowledge to take on the world, they headed to the local language school to continue their English studies. One student named O-san gave the following comment: "Today I went to the Science Museum. There were lots of different toys and it was a lot of fun. In the afternoon, the science-related classes were more interesting than usual."
After a productive day of learning, the students went back to the hotel to rest and eat. The same O-san stated, "Dinner was risotto with rice and everyone ate it with gusto."
