Today was an intense day of battling for supremacy with logical, creative, and impressive ideas. The students prepare to pinpoint their targets and decide how to market to them. Both groups worked extremely hard to generate ideas, make decisions, and act on them.
Lunch in the city is a great reminder to look around and enjoy the beauty of Luang Prabang.
After lunch was more intense planning sessions and presentations. The mentors gave helpful advice.
A highlight of today was dinner at the restaurant khaiphaen-an eatery that is also a social enterprise. The owner hires and trains marginalized ethnic minorities and gives them hospitality training in the hopes they can have the skills to earn money in the tourism sector. Oh, and the food was delicious too.
It was also someone's birthday. Students are busy but looking forward to the 販売会 tomorrow when they can put their ideas into practice.
