Hi everyone! It has been four weeks since I came to Australia. I am in Brisbane now. I experienced many new thing because this studying abroad is first time when I go abroad. So, all things give me impact. Today, I share you what I experienced in Australia.
First, I saw a lot of beautiful views at here. Sightseeing in Australia is amazing and
beautiful. Australia is surrounded by a lot of nature, and there are many animals such as birds, kangaroos, and possums.
Some people maybe say “There are natures and animals in Japan, too”. However, Australia has much more natures and animals than Japan, also they make me relax and refresh. Therefore, I look outside buildings
if I feel tired and want to calm. Thanks to them, I can keep cool in another country from Japan.
Second, I went to many places in Brisbane, thanks to my host family. All places I went were fantastic. Of all of them, the best place which I choose is Brisbane city whose monument is famous. Of course, I took a picture with the monument. Brisbane city has brilliant buildings, and I could get great experiences there. For example, I took a ferry on first time and saw unforgettable sights.
Also, I ate fish and chips for the first time. It was more delicious than I think.
At night, I enjoy the night view from the skyscraper where I ate dinner. I will never forget that day.
Third, I could communicate with many people who are from other countries at school. And, I try speaking English as much as possible. Actually, I’m not good at speaking to other people, but I’m challenging myself to speak to others and speaking up in class. As a result, I can feel my growth step by step, and more people started speaking to me.
Overall, I have already had a lot of experience. I’m also getting used to life in Australia little by little. However, I need to improve my English skills further because I came here to learn English. From now on, I want to keep challenging myself and learning new things so that I can show my growth to the people who support me.
