Hello
It has been one month since I arrived in Australia, and I have got used to living here.
My school teacher is very kind. For example, he helps me when I am confused. Also, my classmates are kind too.
Thanks to them I have made friends and am now enjoying school.
The other day, I went to the Gold Coast with my friends.
It takes about two hours to get there by bus and train.
The scenery during the trip was very beautiful, so the time passed quickly.
Trains and buses in Japan are expensive, but public transportation in Australia is very cheap.
We can use buses and trains for only 50 cents per ride.
My host family told me that this is because public transportation is important for protecting the environment.
On the Gold Coast, we went to a famous beach called Surfers Paradise.
The water there was very clear and beautiful.
Australia is much hotter and sunnier than Japan.
However, when I put my feet in the ocean, it felt cool and nice.
When we were trying to take a photo in front of a famous object, an Australian person talked to us and took a picture for us.
Many Australian people are cheerful and kind.
I have only one month left in Australia.
I want to enjoy every day and spend this precious time without regrets.
