今回は多くの生徒たちがお誕生日をオーストラリアで迎えています。今日はTさんからの報告です。食生活や授業の違いについても触れられています。
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog, and thanks for dropping by. I'm having an amazing time here in Adelaide, meeting new people and trying so many new things. I'm so excited to share all my experiences with you on my blog!
To start with, I want to talk about the food and school culture differences between Japan and Australia. Meals often have a lot of oil, and about three weeks ago, I even got a bit sick because my water bottle was filled with hard water, which I wasn't used to drinking. As you probably know, in Japanese schools, students usually stay in their own classroom while teachers move between classes. Interestingly enough, it's different in Australia. Students move to the classrooms assigned for the subjects they've chosen each period. Also, classes are shorter here, only 40 minutes each, but there are seven periods in a day. I prefer the Australian style with shorter lessons. Which style do you think suits you better, Japan's or Australia's?

At school, I've made some kind friends. One of them happened to be taking the same class as me and sat near me, and they started talking to me. Thanks to that, I got along with their whole group of friends, and they are so kind to me.

Yesterday was my birthday, and even as an international student, they invited me to a birthday party and gave me a bracelet and a message card. Having friends this thoughtful and caring truly makes me happy. I love my lovely group of friends, and I really enjoy hanging out with them during recess and lunch.

One thing I've noticed is many families here have dogs. I'm not really good with animals, so when my host mom's friend's dog came up to me and started licking my knees and hands, it was literally a big challenge for me. I've wanted to overcome my fear of animals since l was little, but it still feels pretty hard.

With four weeks left before I leave Australia, I'll make the most of my time here so I can continue to grow as a person. I'm looking forward to sharing more of my amazing experiences with you in my next blog.

Thanks for reading till the end, and I'll see you in the next blog!
