Hello everyone!
I hope you all did well on your final exams.
Actually, yesterday was my birthday! 🎂
Today, I want to look back on the past seven weeks, including my birthday.
After seven weeks, I have finally gotten used to school life. I’m very lucky to have kind friends, and I enjoy every day here. The person who first talked to me is now my best friend.

At John Paul International College, students are divided into five classes, and the ages and nationalities vary. However, we all enjoy eating together and spending time with each other,it’s so exciting!
Recently, I realized that communication has become smoother. At first, it was difficult to keep up with my classmates. Even when I understood what people were asking, I needed to think about what I say in English. Now, I’m very happy that I can communicate more fluently and enjoy conversations with my friends.

On my birthday, when I arrived at school, all of my classmates celebrated me, and I got a lot of chocolates from my teachers.
After that, when I went back home, my host family had prepared a surprise cake for me. They also gave me a present, and it was very cute. It became a birthday I’ll never forget.

Lately, I have also become more comfortable in class and have started speaking up little by little. Of course, there are still many things I don’t understand, so I always try to ask questions. Whenever I don’t understand something, everyone kindly explains it to me.
Now, with only 22 days left of my study abroad, I’ve started to feel a little sad. I still can’t believe that coming to Australia allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and communicate with them. I’m truly grateful to my host family, teachers, friends, and everyone I have met here.
