Hi! It has already been eight weeks since I came here. Today, I’d like to share things which I learned in my studying abroad.
First, I learned that it’s amazing to do things by myself. Basically, I do almost everything by myself in Australia. Thanks to that, although I hadn’t washed dishes by myself before I came here, I now wash dishes every day. Also, I often cook dishes because I have a lot of free time in this life compared to Japanese life. I can do things freely, so I think this life isn’t so bad. However, I miss Japanese life.
Second, I learned that it’s very important for my improvement to challenge every time without being afraid of mistakes. At the beginning of this studying abroad, I didn’t raise my hand because I was afraid of mistakes. However, one day, I began to raise my hand thanks to teacher’s advice. From that time, I came to realize my improvement little by little. Of course, I made many mistakes, but I learned many things from those mistakes. Now, I’m thankful for teachers in Australia who encouraged me to challenge many things .
Finally, I could know where I stand. In Australia, I could live a good life. For example, I could enjoy talking with many friends who are from different countries and realized that my English works overseas. On the other hand, I realized what I can’t do. It was very frustrating for me. Sometimes, It was difficult to continue challenging to improve my English skills and facing my problems. I was able to know I wasn’t serious about my learning through this studying abroad. At the same time, I reconfirmed importance and joy of effort. Therefore, I’m going to keep challenging many things and making efforts for my improvement.
