Students continue on their quest to conquer Malta, and then the world through their English skills. In the morning the students heard from an English-speaking guide about the history of the "new" capital of Valletta. It's the city where the Order of the Knights of St. John built their fortifications to hold off the Byzantines for centuries, only for the French and then English to take over. Now it's ripe for Kogakuin students.
In the afternoon the students had their first English lesson on the island. One student, 中2のO-san commented, "Today we have a first time to go to school in Malta. When we arrived at school we had a lunch. It was very delicious. In the class we studied about Malta and is , are , do , does. It was a bit difficult but it was very fun!"
In the evening the students had outrageously large hamburgers but boy were they delicious. Eat up students - you'll need strength and stamina to get those English skills up. Keep tuning in to see how the students grow and get close to their goals.
