心配していたハリケーンで停電があったようですが、3/11火曜日からまた学校が始まるようです。Kさんからのレポートです。日本の文化が好きなお友達のことやホストファミリーとの犬の散歩のことなどたくさんの経験を語ってくれています。

This is my second blog and I'll be talking about a week in my life.
My Taiwanese friend likes Haikyuu, so I gave her some Haikyuu stickers as a souvenir from Japan. My Korean friend likes Crayon Shin-chan, so I gave him a Crayon Shin-chan sticker as a souvenir from Japan. I'm glad that they both were very happy.
The Japanese that foreigners speak is very cute. A Korean boy was saying "もっともっと早く!" and it was so cute. Many people ask me, "How do you say this in Japanese?" But there are many words that I can't translate, so I can't tell them. I want to learn more words and teach them to everyone.
The worst thing happened. My favorite teacher quit school. I was so sad that I cried all day. I took a picture with my teacher after school. I hope that she will do her best even if she goes to a different school.
After school, I walked my dog with my host sister. The roads in Australia have a lot of ups and downs, so it was good exercise. It took about two hours to get home because the dog wanted to go to different places. While I was taking a walk, I was approached by a foreigner who had just finished playing basketball. I was nervous because his pronunciation was so native and cool. Sorry guys, I couldn't hear anything:)
I have a favorite person in JPIC. That person is very pretty. She spoke to me at school and I was so happy that I replied with a smile. She told me I was cute.It was a really happy day. But the worst part was that I couldn't speak much English.
My host brother's friend came to our house. He loves Japan and talked to me a lot. He loves Owarai. I love Owarai too, so we talked about Owarai all the time. He said that ガキの使いやあらへんで his favorite. He said he was sad that ガキ使 was no longer on the air. After the talk, we played billiards. It was fun because I was able to speak a lot of English.
The worst thing happened again. Due to the typhoon, school was closed on March 6th and 7th. I wanted to go to school and see my friends. I stayed at home all day. I had to limit going out. At home, I did my homework and played games with my host sister. I'm happy that I can have fun at home too. I played Mario Party. Dog was sleeping next to me while I was playing the game. It was cute.
I played a lot of board games on Saturday. We played mahjong and cards. The first time game I played was a game called scramble. It was a game of arranging English words, so it was educational. We spent the evening playing video games. I also enjoyed playing instruments.
I went shopping on Sunday. The only shop open was Hyperdome. There were a lot of people. All other shops were closed due to the typhoon. I was happy to be outside for the first time in a while. We went around the shops and played UFO catchers. Most of the food was sold out due to the typhoon.
School is closed on Mondays too, so I'll do my best starting on Tuesday.
