Hello from Malta! 🇲🇹✈️
After a long but exciting journey, we’ve finally arrived in beautiful Malta!
We left Narita at 22:30 and flew overnight to Dubai, arriving at 4:10 in the early morning. After a short layover, we continued our journey with a connecting flight via Larnaca and finally landed at Malta International Airport at 13:55.
As soon as we stepped outside, we were welcomed by the intense Mediterranean sun. It was hot—but the breeze from the sea made it feel surprisingly pleasant.
We took a private bus to our accommodation, the St. Julian Bay Hotel. There, Owen from the English Language School was waiting for us. He gave us a warm welcome and took us on a short walking tour of the area. We visited the nearby beach, stopped by a local supermarket, and passed by a lovely church.
Some of us also stopped by a charming gelato shop near the sea—such a refreshing treat on a warm day, and the perfect excuse to enjoy the coastal view a little longer.
Another fun thing we learned: people in Malta love cats! We saw a big statue of a cat—just one of many signs of their fondness for feline friends.
Tomorrow morning, we’re looking forward to visiting the City of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as our first cultural activity. In the afternoon, we’ll start our English classes. A full and exciting day ahead!
Stay tuned for more updates!
