現地の学校の授業が始まり２週間目になりました。今回は現地での学校生活について話したいと思います。

現地の学校の授業が始まり２週間目になりました。今回は現地での学校生活について話したいと思います。
僕はアデレードにあるGleeson Collegeという学校に通っています。とても良いところで朝には鳥がやってきたりもします。Gleesonは過去に何度も留学生を受け入れている学校なので日本人に慣れている人が多いです。
学校に着くと初めにCare Groupというホームルームの時間がありそこで連絡などを済ませます。その後に授業を受けに各教科ごとに教室移動します。初登校日に時間割の紙を渡されたときにここでは一人一人授業の時間割が異なることに気づき驚きました。
今日は理科、数学、リサーチプロジェクトと歴史の授業がありました。
授業の時にはパソコンをよく使って授業をします。数学の授業の時にはなんと計算機を使っていました。数学の先生の話によると試験の時にも計算機を使うそうです。日本ではありえない話なのでとても驚きました。
また他にもビジネスの授業や宗教の授業もあります。授業の内容をよく理解することができ、結構簡単な印象を持ちました。
理科の授業ではDNAについて学び数学の授業では最初はスピードメーターなどのメーターを読むだけでしたが数学は飛び級をしたので今は１次関数について学んでいます。リサーチプロジェクトは自分で調べる内容を決めてそれについてのレポートを書くという授業でした。他にもビジネスの授業ではパワーポイントでプレゼンテーションを作ったり宗教の授業ではイエスキリストの教えについて学んだりします。
学校が終わるとバスを使って帰る人や車で帰る人がいます。僕の場合は学校の近くのファストフード店でホストファミリーの車を待ったりバスに乗り帰ることがあります。
明日はビジネスの授業のプレゼンの発表日なので頑張りたいと思います。

This is my third time to write a blog.
My second week experience of classes of Australian school has started.
Today, I’m going to talk about my school life in Australia.
I attend to Gleeson College in Adelaide. It is so nice place and some birds sometimes fly here in the morning. There are many people who used to Japanese because this school has accepted international student many times.
After arriving at school, we have a class called Care Group which is like Japanese homeroom class. We share the important information etc.
After that, we move to the classroom of the next class.
I was surprised because each of students here has their own timetables and takes different subjects. There aren’t any systems like this in Japan so it was a surprise for me.
Today, I took science, mathematics, research project and history classes.
We often use a laptop in the classes. In mathematics class students here were using calculator. According to math teacher, they use it even in the exams.
I was surprised because we can’t use calculator in the classes and exams.
There are other classes such as religion and business. I was able to understand the content of the classes and I thought it was actually easy for me.
In science class, I learned about DNA. In mathematics class, it was just reading a speedometer but I learned about liner function today because I skipped the grade. The research project was a class which we find a topic which we want to research and make a reports. In business class, we make a presentation with a powerpoint. In the religion class, we learn about Jesus Christ.
After school, some students come home using bus, other students came home with their family’s cars.
In my case, I usually wait for my host family’s car at the hungry jacks. But sometimes I use the bus to come home.
I will do my best for the presentation of business class tomorrow.
