スペイン南部、アンダルシア地方、コルドバにあるIES メディナ・アザハラ高校の生徒たちと、「慶長プロジェクト」を今回は日本で実施しました。
このプロジェクトは、慶長年間のスペインと日本の関わりを辿りながら、両国の関わりを考察し、親善に努める企画です。昨年秋に、本校高校生が先方を訪問し、400年前の支倉常長遣欧使節団の軌跡を辿りました。今回は、スペインからプロジェクトメンバーがが来日し、キリシタンの歴史を東京で辿りながら、歴史と文化を考えます。
この取り組みが、スペイン、コルドバの新聞に掲載されました。
プロジェクトに参加している生徒の感想です。
私の家庭で、スペインの生徒がホームステイをしています。スペインの生徒は、毎回電車に乗るとき、「鳥の声がする」、と言います。彼女は、日本は都会で、鳥の声すら周りの騒音にかき消されて聞こえないので、電車で流しているのではないか、と考察しました。しかし、これは、目の不自由な方のためです。私は今まで鳥の声について気にしたことが無かったので、発見でした。文化、環境の違いを、自分の日々のありふれた生活から考えることができました。
スペインの生徒の感想です。
Travelling is one of the things I most love, so participating in this exchangeis like a wish come true. Going to the other side of the world and living there with a Japanese family is simply amazing. This adventure started the 14 th of January and ended the 21st of January. I have felt very welcomed by my host family. I've felt that if I ever had a problem. I could always count on them. Moreover, my host family have also been very understanding, specially with two main difficulties I've had to face: communication and eating with chopsticks. They have helped me with everything and even though I don't know any Japanese. It's been lovely to communicate with the family and learning words in Japanese.
During the week, we have visited amazing places and we have seen and lived incredible experiences. We have visited many temples, we've tried a lot of food and we have basically lived for a week, an unforgettable experience. Overall, it has been a week I will never forget Tokyo, my Japanese friends, and my wonderful host family. The things I've learnet during this week and the things I have lived will always be one of the most amazing things ever. Tokyo is always going to be in my heart.
