I think today’s meeting was very fun to participate since the topic of anime is popular both in Japan and abroad. Although we ran into technical difficulties early on we managed to resolve it quickly and everything went smoothly after that. Over all we had a good time today am we’re looking forward to the next one.

Our long waited Japanese Lab-Anime has finally been held, and my heart is filled with relief and at the same time, I miss the participants. Holding an event with more than one school/organization could be challenging in many ways, especially when both two school is their first time to held the event. In order to finish the event in success, having communication / conversation and to be united are salient. However, because of the distance and the school we go to are different, things didn’t go as we desired to be sometimes. The daily schedule of the schools and the individuals differ a lot, thus I (we) enfaced hard times in some occasions. However such uneasiness gradually went away through multiple meetings and conversation via texting. I was given advice and taught myself some tips on how to make things go efficient and how to cooperate with each other. The time went past like a speed of light during the session, so I felt a bit reluctant of ending the breakout room session. During the session, I was told how much the participants love anime through interactions in the breakout rooms, and I absolutely loved the talk with them. Some watched animes that I thought it wasn’t popular other than in Japan, and some knew other features of Japan, so it was a novel finding about the recognition of Japan from foreign countries. I am hoping to construct a better Japanese Lab for the the next session on the topic of Music from the reflections of this session with my team!!
