Hello everyone, My name is K.I am living in Aspley in a home stay. I have my own room, and bathroom. I'm learning to cook and enjoy the different foods because I am learning to cook. I now understand how much my mother does for me.
I have eaten spicy food, but it is too hot for me. I have to drink a lot of milk, so I do not hurt my mouth.
On Friday, I went to Mooloolaba to swim in the ocean. The water was warm and I enjoyed the waves. The sun was very hot and even though I had sun screen on my skin. I could only stay in the sun for 30 minutes. After the swim, we had fish chips and prawns for lunch. It was very nice to eat.We drove down to Caboolture to get a haircut. Hair cut is cheaper than in Japan. I visited a butcher to see how meat is prepared. I like eating meat. Very tasty.Today we are celebrating Australia day. We are having are BBQ. We will eat different meat such as steak, lamb, sausages and different salads. We also will have lamingtons and damper. Some of the neighbours are coming as well. I am looking forward to this.I have come to Australia to learn English. My homestay carer likes me to speak English, so I can learn to speak better. It will be nice see more of Australia. While I am at school I hope to make new friends.
