Hello everyone!
Is it cold in Japan right now? Australia is so hot like I might get sunburned!
I’ve been two weeks since I came to Brisbane. Today, I’d like to share about my life here.
My host family is from Hong Kong, and their food is very delicious! Everyone is very friendly. There are nine members in the family. The father, mother, grandmother, two children, another international student, and two big dogs. It’s a big and lively family, and every day is fun. On weekends, we went to parks, flew a drone, and went to Gold Coast!
School is not as easy as I expected. I get a lot of homework every day, and many things are difficult for me. To be honest, I’m not used to everything yet, but I enjoy learning new things, like vocabulary, grammar.During class, if I don’t understand something, I always try to ask my friends or the teacher right away. Even if my English is not perfect, everyone listens to me, so I enjoy learning.
I personally feel like studying abroad is not easy. Everything is always challenge for me, but I feel like trying to speak is more important than being perfect. My classmates are more fluent than me. But I’m not giving up, and I’m doing my best to keep up with my classmates!! I'm happy to get this opportunity.
