Today was the culmination of a lot of hard work by our students! Starting yesterday, they went around Kathmandu to various hotels and invited them to our seminar today. Furthermore, they interviewed 105 foreigners staying in hotels in the city to gather data for today's seminar. Not only that, but many were hard at work getting the meeting hall ready for our guests to arrive.
Ten hotels were represented, with 18 people in attendance! Several students contributed with talks that they had written, using presentations they had designed on their own. There was also a bonus talk by Ishizaka-sensei!
The seminar closed with a talk by representatives from Bamboo Bazar, followed by a Q and A session.
Overall, it was a resounding success! The students really worked hard to make this event happen. Prakritee was very pleased with everyone's efforts, and the event really helped connect her company to the hotel industry.
To celebrate, we went out for pizza.
Tomorrow is the Final Presentation, so the students are spending time getting ready for that.
