Today was a busy day! In the morning, we went to the factory where Bamboo Bazar goods are made, as well as other bamboo goods. The factory owner, who is Prakritee's mentor, showed us around the factory and answered the students' questions. Many of the students asked good questions and demonstrated great critical thinking skills.
After that, we drove up a winding mountain road to a viewing spot, where we were able to witness the majesty of the Himalayas!
For the final part of our day trip, we went to the city of Bhaktapur. Its Durbar Square is a World Heritage Site, filled with temples, palaces, and statues.
Despite such a busy day, the students immediately got back to work on their projects as soon as we returned to the hotel. Tomorrow, they will continue working on their projects.
